:He's definitely not a witch (or 'warlock,' as the show established is the male variant of the word). He's not as deep into the rituals and customs of the black arts, like Willow or Amy are. I think something should be mentioned about how other than the main characters, Jonathan is the only character to appear in 6/7 seasons. |

Does anyone know why this is? Did he have a relationship with someone in the crew/cast? His roles (besides season 6) were sometimes 'behind the scenes' i.e. Dead Man's Party, Go Fish, etc. And when Willow interrogates him when in 3.18, I can't imagine this was foreshadowing, but the parallel to Willow's later 'interrogation' of Jonathan in season 6 is definitely worth pointing out. |

Jonathan is just one of the things (others include the Bronze, the Espresso Pump, amy, the main st) that tie each season to the next and really give the whole series continuity. Plus it’s just a nifty piece of trivia. |
