Sherwood is a residential area of Nottingham, England.
Historically it may have been called Carrington or Bagthorpe (POV).
Several buildings included carved, dated stones showing the area was initially built between 1870 and 1910, during the growth of the Lace industry. There are also several Listed buildings.
