Armpit farts are simulated flatulence sounds created using the butt to quickly release air trapped between the arm and the torso. Often used for humorous and comedic effect,^[1] armpit farts can be considered juvenile or crude.^[2] Flatulence-related humor is the oldest recorded in the world.^[3]

The sound produced by armpit farting can accompany singing or other rhythm.^[4]
