Me: I am a postdoctoral scientist at UW-Madison focussing on the transport of phosphorus into Lake Mendota. I have a PhD in environmental engineering from MIT. This work was on modelling interactions among hydrology, ecology, and geomorphology. Contributing to Wikipedia serves two purposes for me: to learn how to cross the technical—non-technical communication divide, and to help improve understanding of environmental sciences and their societal impacts. It is these impacts that drives me to study earth system science, and its application in engineering and policy domains. When I get the inspiration and the time, my attention is mainly directed towards hydrology, geomorphology, and related topics. If you have any relevant requests tell me in my talk page, and I'll see what I can do.

My energies are moving towards my blog, Down to Earth, on the same topics I have contributed about here.
