I'm wondering if most of the arbcom actually looks at the evidence page, or just looks at what is going on in this proposed decision page. [[user:BhaiSaab|BhaiSaab]] [[user talk:BhaiSaab|talk]] 00:38, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Why are five votes a majority and not three? BhaiSaab talk 06:40, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because there are 14 arbitrators, 5 are inactive and 1 recused leaving 8 active to vote. Half of 8 is 4 but a 4-4 vote would be a tie so the majority is 5. Thatcher131 12:10, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
