Diana Pho is a costumer, writer and editor for Tor Books; and nominee for the Nebula and multiple Hugo awards.

Biography

Pho was born on May 14, 1985 and is a native of Massachusets. She has a double Bachelor’s degree in English and Russian Literature from Mount Holyoke College in 2007 [1] and a Master’s in Performance Studies from New York University.[2]

She began participating in Science Fiction fandom as a teenager, writing fan fiction. She went on to write social and political commentary regarding Steampunk[3][4] before taking a position at Tor Books.

Awards and nominations

Pho was nominated for Hugo Award for Best Professional Editor, Long Form in 2018[5] and 2019[6]. Books she’s edited that received awards include Steeplejack (Thriller Award for Best Young Adult), the Ditmar Award (Crossroads of Canopy, for Best Novel)
