Deodeokgui is a Korean vegetable dish thinly spread out and broiled with Gochujang.

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 Tsp of sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp of soy sauce

Preparation

  1. Peel the deodeok and slice it by half in length.
  2. Soak it in salt water for a while and drain it.
  3. Apply whey to the dried deodeok.
  4. For seasoning, add red pepper paste, chopped spring onion, crushed garlic, sesame seed, sesame oil, sugar and soy sauce and mix them and set aside.
  5. Heat a pan and pour some oil.
  6. Add the drained deodeok and grill it evenly for each side.
