The Nepalese Army Air Service is the air force unit of the Nepalese Army. Until 2006 it was known as the Royal Nepalese Army Air Service.

One of the Army Air Service MI-17 helicopter crashed during the skirmish between security force and the People's Liberation Army (Maoist) at Sarlahi district on April 2006.[citation needed]
