You recently wrote in an edit summary (about your uncited edits) saying, "I Agree to MrDarcy Last Statement, but all the reconds and milestones I've added are fact, but not many sites post them, they just post the common stats, it's hard to get a Citation to everything". I can sympathize with your frustrations. I have tried in the past in other articles to include information I knew was true but couldn't verify. Unfortunately in Wikipedia, this means it doesn't get included, especially in the category of article we're talking about: Biography Of Living Persons. Wikipedia's policy on verifiability states "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth." (emphasis Wikipedia's). Furthermore, the slightly stricter policy coming from BoLP states "Unsourced or poorly sourced controversial (negative, positive, or just highly questionable) material about living persons should be removed immediately from Wikipedia articles, talk pages, and user pages." I can understand that you think that the information that you have provided in the past is not controversial, but the fact that it has stirred a controversy seems to indicate otherwise. I hope this clarification helps us find some middle ground. Adam Weeden 10:49, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

No, it doesn't AdamWeeden, hardly anything is cited in the Dan Marino and Peyton Manning page, they only have 5 and 15 citations respectively, and Brett Favre doesn't have a citation for every sentence, this situation is a fact of you aviper2k7 and King Bee running it your own way and deleting facts, well go take care of the Dan Marino and Peyton Manning pages and quit vandalising this one with a unbearable amount of citations, I feel sorry for Brett Favre, 15 years hard work and his records and milestones that are correct that I've posted can't be mentioned or honored because you guys can't find a link, his the one getting wronged, you guys are copycats, having to have a citation to everything, it's copycat all the way, theis can't be a original page on it's own, like the wins by quarterback, you have to erase the losses he has and keep the win total, well why can't we incluse his complete record in the wins by quarterback category, it's not about win percenage, it's just about his wins and showing his and marino and elway complete record, but no you have to delete the losses because it's not about win percentage, well bobby knight full record is shown as the greatest winning coach in basketball over dean smith, but dean smith has a better win percentage, but one less victory, but that isn't erased on his page, you guys are making this Brett Favre page a joke and you should be ashamed of yourself, like example the playoff stats in which I created and provided on this page, you guys have 3 or 4 links to the same number 12 citation, it looks awful and illerate, and someone on her should see this and clean this page up like you won't let me do, this page would be much better if I ran it, starwars1955 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by starwars1955 (talk • contribs){{#if:{}| {}|}}.

:I'm sorry you feel that way starwars1955. I can see your point about having too many citations making things look bad, but I believe that Wikipedia values verfiable accuracy over beauty. This is not to say pages should be cluttered, ugly, or otherwise unreadeable, but if the only way to make these pages more attractive is to remove citations, then the page will just have to stay "ugly." Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a magazine article. Adam Weeden 22:23, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

MrDarcy, how long does it take for someone to rule on this block, this unjustness has gone on long enough, and this block should have never been placed and needs to be removed immediatly. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by starwars1955 (talk • contribs){{#if:{}| {}|}}.

::Please read WP:OWN. You don't get to "run" any pages... nobody here does. Wikipedia works on consensus so you have to learn to work with others using article talk pages and the like. If something is uncited on Dan Marino or John Elway then it should be cited or removed. It doesn't justify adding unsourced information to the article on Brett Farve. User:Adam Weeden correctly cited WP:V's verifiability not truth clause. If there is not a source for these stats it is original research to compile them yourself and add them to the article. Sorry if you disagree with this, but that is simply the way it works on Wikipedia. Citations are a must and if you can't find a link or book that supports the text you want to add, it cannot be added here.--Isotope23 22:00, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't talking to you isotope and what I'm saying AdamWeeden, don't you thing one citation on next to the word playoff stats will be enough, it looks so stupid having 3 or 4 cluttered around the playoff stats, that's so immature looking, just put one link to the number 12 citation next to the playoff stats, and the records and milestones, the same citation is next to the first three stats, come on one is enough, you people are getting more laughs than anything, starwars1955
::I'm well aware you were not talking to me. I'm trying to offer you a bit of advice here as an uninvolved party. If you keep removing citations from articles you will very likely get banned indefinitely.--Isotope23 01:04, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I have no intention of lifting the block, as I see nothing to indicate that you're going to alter your editing practices once you return. You are in the wrong on the matter of citations, and if your intention is to continue removing them, I will increase your block to an indefinite one and we can be done with this. | Mr. Darcy talk 22:53, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Is Starwars1955 A Sockpuppet?
I have posted this message on this Talk Page for a reason. This is my question: is this User a sockpuppet of Cute 1 4 u? This User seems highly aggressive, removes comments, etc: the traits of Cute 1 4 u. Acalamari 04:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
:No because of the kind of articles that user edits compared to Starwar's. Also their grammar is different and starwars usually doesn't sign his posts.++aviper2k7++ 04:54, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
