Noddle

Noddle is a free credit report service, offered by Callcredit. It launched in June 2011 and invited 10,000 people to trial the service before it's national launch in the fall. At present time, individuals are charged a fee of £2 to obtain a single copy of their credit report. [1]

Noddle claims that Britons spend over £22 million a year on 'free' credit report trials that are difficult to opt out of, so Noddle offers the new service for free and for life. It partnered with the price comparison website BeatThatQuote and HD Decisions to promote credit cards and loans that individuals are likely to qualify for but with no obligation to take up the offers.[2]

Noddle also has a "vouchers and offers" section on the website which users can tailor to their interests.[3]

"We want to make sure every adult has free access to their report whenever they need it" says Tom Ilube, Managing Director at Callcredit Check. He adds, ""A credit report is your financial passport."[4]
