ScienceApologist wants to put the Totally Disputed tag. Could he clarify what is the problem with the following statements ?

  • "As of 2007, research on cold fusion continues." It seems necessary to me to explain why the DOE would review the field if cold fusion research did not continue. It is also in line with what the 1989 report said. Where is the issue in saying that ?
  • "Independent replication of excess heat and other effects have been reported in specialized peer reviewed journals. " what is the problem of saying that, as it is the basis for the 2004 review. What did the DOE panel reviewed, if it is not that ? Where is the POV of saying it ?

Please clarify so that we can resolve the "totally disputed" article. Pcarbonn 20:53, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

New Image Available

Pcarbonn...I just uploaded an image of a more modern calorimeter. A closed cell, within a mass-flow calorimeter. It may be more appropriate than the image of the old open cell calorimeter. I do not know how to put it into the page. Perhaps you can figure it out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:SRI-TypeCalorimeter.jpg. If you wish to contact me, I can be reached at 310.470.8189.
