Singer, songwriter & musician Maz Hack (aka) Librareggae enjoys creating reggae music. He chose his name by combining both his astrological birth sign and the music he grew up embracing when he was young. It all started when he received drum lessons whilst living in Leeds aged 12. When he was 14 he joined a reggae band and did a number of gigs around the country. However, they disbanded by the early 80s, so he kept himself occupied playing for other bands, following sound systems and learning to play other instruments. In the midst of this he started making recordings to cassette tapes using various methods.

Many years later he currently resides in the Midlands and has continued making music. As a player of a few instruments, he co-writes, performs and produces every composition in his home studio. All the works are original which allows him to vocally deliver each song passionately.

He enjoys many styles of music but his main influences are Bob Marley, Sly & Robbie, The Mighty Diamonds, Steel Pulse, Aswad and many other artists from his childhood days, hence choosing reggae as a preferred genre.

He seeks no fame or fortune. It has simply been a goal of his to release music and to share how he goes about creating it.
