Pat Miller (dog trainer)
Patricia Miller (born Oct. 14, 1951, Springfield, IL) is a nationally recognized[1][2][3] American dog trainer noted for her experience in clicker training. She operates a dog training facility, Peaceable Paws[4], in Fairplay, MD[5].
Biography
Miller was born in Springfield, IL and graduated from high school in Vestal, NY after her stepfather Harold L. Nieburg had accepted a position at SUNY Binghamton. She worked at the Marin Humane Society in Marin County, California for 20 years[6] and now lives in Fairplay, MD with her husband Paul.
She is the author of many articles (particularly in Whole Dog Journal)[7] and several books, including The Power of Positive Dog Training[8] and Positive Perspectives: Love Your Dog, Train Your Dog [9] and its sequel.
