Benjamin Putnam Calhoun (1855 - 1907) was a lawyer, public official, judge, state attorney, and state senator.

He was born in St. Augustine. He was a one term state senator. A Democrat,[1] he served as one of five representatives for Orangeburg. Benjamin K. Randolph was state senator for the area.[2]

His wife died a year after he did on July 26, 1908.[3] An 1886 Bar Association of New Mexico meeting report identified him as living in Grant, New Mexico.[4]
