  • People use the same abstract terms, sometimes, in very different research and everyday contexts, but usually their notions have certain common "kernel".

Such definitions are domain independent, I look for them.

  • On the other hand, definitions can be hierarchical, for example:

A is a B with a property X.C is a A with a property Y, or C is a B with a property X and a property Y

For example, system is an entity where a presence of structure is recognized.
