Amina Taher is an Emirati airline executive [1]and podcast host[2]. She is the sole female on Etihad Aviation Group’s Executive Leadership Team. [3]

Taher is also the only woman on the board of DXB Entertainments, [4] which owns several theme parks and hotels in UAE, including Legoland Dubai, in addition to sitting on the boards of the Middle East Public Relations Association and the Marketing Society.

In 2020, Taher was named as one of the top 50 Forbes Power Businesswomen in The Middle East [5] and was also featured in Forbes' 50 impactful Marketing and Communications Professionals in the Middle East. She was the feature of a cover story in Elle Arabia[6] in December 2020.

As a marketing executive, she helped launch UAE’s Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019.

In 2011, Taher co-founded Slices[7], a startup that has served over 1,000,000 locally-soured meals to Emirati schoolchildren.

Personal Life

Amina holds an MBA from London Business School[8] and an MPA from Harvard University's Kennedy School[9], where she was an Emirates Leader Initiative Fellowship/ Scholarship recipient. She has one daughter.
