VC Editions is a Contemporary Art Collection housed at Valletta Contemporary.
The Collection
This is an going collection that features commissioned work by selected local and international contemporary artists that had previously exhibited at the Gallery.
It is one of the ways that the gallery looks at sustaining its artistic relationship with artists whose work is exhibited as part of VC's yearly exhibition program, beyond the lifetime of the show. It is also a form of artist representation at the gallery on a more permanent basis, albeit not in the traditional sense.
After a specific piece is chosen in consultation with the artist, it is reproduced in numbered editions and made available exclusively through Valletta Contemporary's gallery.[1]
The Artists
The Collection features works by various artists namely Carlos Coronas, Eberhard Bosslet, Shawn Maximo, Matthew Attard, Eric Meier, Christian Jaccard, Norbert Francis Attard, Aaron Bezzina, Charlie Cauchi, Alex Attard and Maxine Attard.[2]
