The 2021 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament is a women's T20I cricket (WT20I) tournament due to be held in Rwanda from 6 to 12 June 2021.[1][2] This will be the seventh edition of the annual Kwibuka Tournament, first organised 2014 in remembrance of the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.[3] The 2020 edition of the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[4] All matches will be played at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali.[1]

The participating teams will be the women's national sides of Rwanda, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria and three-time champions Uganda; Botswana and Namibia will be playing in the Kwibuka tournament for the first time.[1] Tanzania won the 2019 edition but will not be defending the title this year.

The Rwanda Cricket Association looked to further enhance the status of the Kwibuka tournament by including Zimbabwe on a regular basis in future years and inviting leading associate teams from Europe and elsewhere, stating that they have already held positive talks with the Brazilian and German Cricket Federations.[1]
