Munawar Iqbal Faruqui is an Indian stand-up comic hailing from Junagadh, famously known for his political satire humour. He rose to fame after right-wing groups accused him making insensitive jokes on the Hindu victims of Godhra train burning. He was imprisoned 37 days until he granted interim bail on February 5 by the Supreme Court of India.
