"Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby"
Song

"Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby" is a Carl Perkins song that was covered by The Beatles as the last track on their UK Beatles for Sale album and the last track on the US album Beatles '65. The song is most notable for being one of George Harrison's strongest vocal performances on any Beatles recording up to that point, as well as its rollicking guitar solo. It finishes with a false ending; the final phrase repeating itself after the song seems to have stopped.
