Chew on This is a book by Eric Schlosser(author of Fast Food Nation) and Charles Wilson on fast food for younger readers. It has a lot of criticism on fast-food restaurants,mainly McDonald's.Some of the subjects in focuses on are the origin of fast-food,the targeting of children,the treatment of the workers,and the treatment of the animals used for the food,amoung other things.

The book includes things that have happened to many individuals.Towards the end of the book,there is a long list of people who have contributed.

Focus of the Book

The book is mainly criticism for fast-food.It tends to focus more on McDonald's,but mainly focuses on fast-food in general.It goes on to mention the unhealthieness of every food,andhow it comes to be made.One thing that is mentioned a lot in the book is that fast food franchises are made to have all food taste the same.

It has mentioned many legal cases and great criticisms of fast-food restaurants.In addition,it has mentioned how fast food's expansion has affected other countries.It's point of view is against fast food,and all information follows that point of view.
