Susie Hargreaves
Susie Hargreaves OBE (born 1962) is a British executive who works in the charity sector. In 2011 she was appointed Chief Executive officer of the Internet Watch Foundation (the UK non-profit organisation responsible for the removal of child sexual abuse imagery from the global internet).
Prior to joining the IWF, she was CEO of Society of Dyers & Colourists after spending 25 years working in the Arts in a variety of roles including Director of CultureWorks Consultancy; as CEO of Audiences Yorkshire; Deputy CEO of Watermans Arts Centre and General Manager of Red Ladder Theatre Company.
Susie is granddaughter of Stained Glass Artist Joseph Edward Nuttgens, Daughter of Academic and Broadcaster Patrick Nuttgens CBE and sister of Composer Sandy Nuttgens. She is married to Theatre Director and Writer Marcus Romer and together they have two children.
In 2015 Susie was awarded an OBE for Services to Child Online Protection in the Queen’s Birthday Honours. In 2006/2007 she was awarded a Clore Leadership Fellowship.
