John R. Stuelpnagel is an American venture capitalist, inventor, medical researcher and publicist, specializing in biotechnology.[1][2][3] He is mostly known for business and research contributions to DNA sequencing technology through co-founding Illumina, Inc.,[4][5] a company that helped to reduce the cost of sequencing a human genome.[6][7][8]
