Tobias Menzies, born March 7, 1974 is a British actor who has appeared predominantly in television roles, most notably as Marcus Junius Brutus in seasons 1 and 2 of the BBC/HBO series Rome.

Before Rome, most of his appearances had been confined to British television, appearing in series such as Midsomer Murders, A Very Social Secretary, Casualty and Foyle's War.

He had a small role as a theatre patron in the 2004 movie Finding Neverland, and features in the 2006 reboot of the James Bond franchise, Casino Royale. He plays the character of Villiers, who is an aide to Judi Dench's M.

He was also noted for his role as Hamlet in Rupert Goold's Hamlet at the Royal Theatre.

In 2005 between filming the first and second seasons of Rome, he joined the touring cast of Alan Bennett's play "The History Boys", adopting the role of young teacher Irwin.
