January 2009[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Your user name appears to refer to the September 11, 2001 attacks and mention Allah and praise in the same phrase. Put together, your name appears meant to provoke and does not sound conducive to a collaborative environment. Your user page and contributions also cause concern.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Username discussion in progress[edit]

Hello, Allahpraiser911, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! Wikipedia has a policy on what usernames editors can use. Unfortunately, concerns have been raised that your username may be incompatible with that policy. You can contribute to the discussion about it here. Alternatively, if you agree that your username may be problematic and are willing to change it, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name. Simply request a new name here following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. That pesky wolf from Kings Quest I (talk) 22:05, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
