  • Comment: At this point, the article doesn't show notability, but if the journal is indeed indexed in Scopus (which has to be shown by a link to Scopus, see below) then that is fine. However, the article is not acceptable as is (for example, the in-line external links have to go). The Journal of Horticultural Sciences is a peer reviewed open access journal (ISSN 0973-354X; eSSN 2582-4899) in the discipline of horticulture.[1]

Journal scope

The scope of the journal is of all branches of horticulture. It accepts and publishes review articles, research papers, and short communications.[2]

Affiliation

The journal is published by the Society for Promotion of Horticulture which is hosted at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru.[2]

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is indexed in Scopus[3] and DOAJ, and other scholarly publication indexing sites like AGRIS[4], CABI and ROAD.[5] It is the only Indian journal to be indexed in the Redalyc[6] and to use the AmeliCA XML markup system.[7]

The journal's articles are licensed under Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 which allows sharing and adaptation but non–commercially.[8][9]

Microsoft Academic estimates 510 citations for the 488 published articles of the journal for the period 2004-2021.[10]
