Welcome

...to en.wp Jossi! Stalwart111 12:51, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! Actually, it's only my user name which is new. As User:Jeppi, my now discontinued former SUL account, I have made (mostly smaller) edits here since 2006. --Jossi 13:01, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A regular then! Well, welcome back maybe? Ha ha. You might want to redirect your old username/talk to these to prevent silly sock-puppetry allegations. Have a good one! Cheers, Stalwart111 13:10, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Was bored so I did it for you - templates added to both User:Jeppi and User talk:Jeppi. Stalwart111 13:20, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's what I call excellent service! Thank you so much! Frankly, this user name business got a bit too much for me lately. I chose my old user name "Jossi" in 2004 in de:WP, long before any thoughts of SUL or global accounts had emerged. When I started to edit in en:WP, finding out that "Jossi" was already in use there, I sidestepped to "Jeppi", not wanting to give up my well-introduced nick in de:WP, and Jeppi became also my global account. So I was quite happy with my double identity until SUL finalization came along and things started to get a bit complicated... Cheers --Jossi 14:06, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
Ha ha. What a mess! Well, hopefully it hasn't disheartened you. Keep up the good work! Stalwart111 14:32, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:34, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
