Request details

[edit]

For whatever reason, this article has stirred up some strong emotions by people who oppose it. At first there were personal attacks. From then on, some people constantly mass censor the article without a single debate. As a result, the article gets more and more empty with time.

Who are the involved parties?

[edit]

User:Seth Turner - personally attacked another user User:Bastique - mass censored a news item without a single vote suggestion first User:Etafly - at least indirectly, but still personally attacked another user User:Mdbrownmsw - constantly mass censors without a single vote suggestion first

What's going on?

[edit]

At first there was a full blown personal attack on User:lwc4life which, as it seems, pretty much drove the user away from the article. Then, some people took it on themselves to conduct constant mass censorship without a single suggestion for a vote.

What would you like to change about that?

[edit]

I suggest censoring any talks that were nothing but personal attacks, as it is not fair for the user to keep them in their history. Then have a vote for everything that was mass deleted, and keep voting from then on.

Mediator notes

[edit]

I'm not seeing any evidence of personal attacks or mass censorship going on at the article talk page. Could the requester of this mediation provide some diffs to examples of this behavior? Otherwise I'm not seeing much to mediate. ɑʀкʏɑɴ 15:12, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm closing this request given the lack of apparent need for it. Should the requester object to closing this request and present evidence it's warranted I'll reopen it then. ɑʀкʏɑɴ 22:45, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
