Mission Statement
"To see Jesus in all the loveliness of His person and the perfection of His work and to make Him known through the preaching of the Gospel."
History
New Creation Church was founded in 1984 when a small group of young believers in Singapore decided to gather together. Their vision was to start an independent, non-denominational church that is based solely on the unchanging Word of God. From an initial attendance of 25, the church gradually grew to about 150 members by 1990.
In June 1990, Joseph Prince, a founding member and pioneer leader of the church, was appointed as the senior pastor. By 1998, the congregation numbered 3,000 and it now has about 13,000 members.
Internationally, the church has reached Uganda, where its weekly services are broadcast. The church's sermon CDs are also internationally available. The church is also involved in missions throughout the region and have sent pastors and other leaders to China, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
The church's music ministry has produced and released two praise & worship albums to date - You Gave (2005) and You Alone I Praise (2006).
In 2006, Pastor Prince was invited to speak at the Grace & Favour Seminar at Hillsong Church in Sydney and also to Hillsong London to preach at three Sunday services.
CCM artistes such as Bob Fitts and Steven Curtis Chapman have performed in the church. Hillsongs United had a youth concert in the church in November 2006.
