Economy and Society is a quarterly peer-reviewed interdisciplinary academic journal of theory and politics.[1] It was established in 1971 and is published by Taylor and Francis. As of 2021, its managing editor is Paul Langley, Professor of Economic Geography at Durham University.[2]

Abstracting and Indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index and Scopus.[3] According to Journal Citation Reports, its 2020 impact factor was 2.849, ranking it 42/189 in the category "sociology".[citation needed]
