Biography

Dananananaykroyd are a six-piece rock band featuring former (and current) members of many other Glasgow-based bands, including The Boy Cartographer, Hector Collectors, Multiplies, Simplestorm, Michael Dracula, Acrnym, Findo Gask and Errors. They are notable for featuring two drummers, playing in unison.


Releases

Dananananaykroyd released two 7" singles in 2006:

  • "Totally Bone"/"Hey Giles" on Moshi Moshi Records.
  • "Some Dresses"/"Genuine Lbs" on Jealous Records.


Line-up Change

Dananananaykroyd played their final gig with the former lineup at Glasgow's Oran Mor, 3rd December 2006, (the same night they appeared on BBC2's The Music Show) with Lucky Luke, We Are The Physics and Park Attack. Vocalist Giles Bailey was replaced by drummer Calum Gunn. Gunn's place at the drumkit was filled by John Baillie Junior, who also plays drums with Findo Gask.
