Portal:Hong Kong football[edit]

Portal:Hong Kong football (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

This portal seems to have never got off the ground, similar to the recently deleted Portal:Football in Iran. Although it has a decent lead section and a selected article, the rest of the sections are redlinks and the scope is not sufficient to maintain a decent Portal.

  • Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related deletions. – PeeJay 13:05, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I noticed after I created this nomination that this Portal was only created last month. However, since most of the impetus for the creation of new pages comes in the first few days, I very much doubt that even the creator has any more interest in maintaining it. – PeeJay 13:07, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep one month is too short to declare the portal dead, especially as the creator is still active and editing in this topic area. By contrast the Iranian portal mentioned was deleted nearly two years after creation. Hut 8.5 13:13, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • You may be right. However, per a message on his talk page, the creator of the portal has requested that the portal pages be moved to his userspace. I therefore suggest that this nomination be closed and the pages moved. – PeeJay 14:48, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
