Cuticura soap is an antibacterial medicated soap that uses trilocarban instead of the normal triclosan. These two antibacterial agents are very similar molecularly. By themselves they kill 99.99% of bacteria and microbes (like fungus spores) on contact. However when used as a soap additive triclosan has not proven to kill any more bacteria than normal generic soap.

Cuticura soap however has had a strong but smaller following and his been in use, relatively unchanged since 1865.
