St. Francis Wood, San Francisco
St. Francis Wood is an affluent residential neighborhood located in southwestern San Francisco, California, near the West Portal neighborhood. Although characterized by impressive single family homes on spacious lots (by urban San Francisco standards), St. Francis Wood is lesser known than other, more centrally-located wealthy San Francisco neighbrhoods such as the Marina District and Pacific Heights, or even the Pacific Ocean-adjacent Sea cliff neighborhood in northwestern San Francisco.
