The Harod Stream Hebrew: נחל חרוד, romanized: Nahal Harod, Arabic: نهر جالود, romanized: Wadi Jalud is a stream in Israel that flows west to east, from Givat HaMoreh via the Harod Valley and Beit She'an Valley into the Jordan River. It is the main drainage route of the Harod Valley[1] It flows along a narrow geological fault at the foot of the Mount Gilboa crossing the Harod Valley.[2] In the west the flow is smooth, with a relatively deep riverbed, further on it becomes turbulent, with many waterfalls.[1]
The total length from the source to mouth is 31km, but the length of the non-intermittent flow is 20-22km.[3]
