Tucker Max
Tucker Tibor Max (born 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a fratire-style author and blogger who is writing a sitcom pilot script for Comedy Central and the creator of Tuckermax.com and Rudius Media.[1][2]
Max grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, and received a bachelor's degree in Law, Letters, and Society from University of Chicago and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law. [3] At Duke, he posted an online "date application" that led to the eventual popularity of Max's site, Tuckermax.com, which contains a collection of sordid stories consisting of his drunken escapades, as well as a heavily moderated message board. Later, in June 2003, Max appeared in "Sex2K", an episode of MTV's True Life[4]. In 2003, a judge ordered Max to remove from his site a story about an ex-girlfriend who filed an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit,[5] but the case eventually was dismissed.[6] - - In Summer 2006, Max appeared on the Opie and Anthony radio program where the hosts cast doubt on the truthfulness of his stories when Max could not produce, what the hosts considered, basic evidence to support two of his most popular stories. In further discussion, Max was compared to James Frey.[7].
