2022 Pakistan Army helicopter incident

On 1 August 2022, a Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter, which was on flood relief operations in Lasbela area of Balochistan, lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC). A search operation for the missing helicopter is underway.[1]

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, 6 people including Commander 12 Corps Lieutenant General Sarfaraz Ali were on board the helicopter who were monitoring flood relief operations in Balochistan.[2][3][4]
