XXV is the upcoming 13th studio album by English recording artist Robbie Williams. It is due to be released worldwide on 9 September 2022.
Background
On 22 November, Williams released his first Christmas album titled The Christmas Present, debuting at number two on the UK Charts and selling over 67,000 copies, which is identical sales to his previous studio album release The Heavy Entertainment Show. The following week saw Williams' album go to #1 in the UK, outselling the nearest competitor Rod Stewart by 5,000 copies. This was Williams' 13th UK number-one album, tying Elvis Presley for the most UK number-one albums.[1]
On 7 June 2022, Williams announced that his thirteenth studio album, XXV, would be released on 9 September 2022.[2] It will feature new versions of his hit songs, plus new material. On the same day as this announcement, Williams released "Angels XXV", a reworked version of "Angels".[3][4]
Singles
The first single taken from XXV was a reimagined version of his hit single "Angels" and was released on 7 June 2022. On 10 June 2022, "Angels (XXV)" reached number 92 on the UK Official Singles Sales Chart,[5] rising to 74 a week later.[6]
The second official single was "Lost (XXV)". It was released on 5 August 2022.[7][8]
