Ok, the bot takes care of almost everything I do, I'm swamped with work right now. I'm outta here. If you need anything urgent, email me. -- Tawker 01:03, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of template acknowledging source of imported material

Please see Template talk:EnPW. I see that a dozen or more pages had that acknowledgment removed "per Danny". A violation of license, on the face of it. Robin Patterson 18 Feb 2007

VoABot II and pagemoves

Your edit at [1] says "pagemove was approved" on the edit summary, but is adding a second checkmark to the second item (recent changes), instead of adding it to the third item (move log). Should the checkmark be moved to the third item instead? --cesarb 04:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AntiVandalBot

Hey man. I'm interested in having a look at the list of rules for antivandalbot. If thats ok, can you please email them to my email address, via the email this user function. Cheers, THE KING 06:16, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Automated message to bot owners

As a result of discussion on the village pump and mailing list, bots are now allowed to edit up to 15 times per minute. The following is the new text regarding bot edit rates from Wikipedia:Bot Policy:

Until new bots are accepted they should wait 30-60 seconds between edits, so as to not clog the recent changes list and user watchlists. After being accepted and a bureaucrat has marked them as a bot, they can edit at a much faster pace. Bots doing non-urgent tasks should edit approximately once every ten seconds, while bots who would benefit from faster editing may edit approximately once every every four seconds.

Also, to eliminate the need to spam the bot talk pages, please add Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard to your watchlist. Future messages which affect bot owners will be posted there. Thank you. --Mets501 05:11, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much

I would like to thank you very much for unblocking my very shared IP 69.121.173.40 (talk · contribs). I would like to say I feel bad that there are always unconstructive vandals or Trolls on just abou every shared ISP proxy nowadays but nevertheless at least we could deal with them with anon only account creation blocks without collateral damage to legitamate contributors to the Wiki like me. Thank you very much again by the Way for your time and understanding! Sincerely, --Johnny89 01:00, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
