During the group's days as a band, they operated & signed their first record deal as a four-piece band. For their first three years on Universal Republic they also toured with Mike Doerr as a live touring musician on guitar & back up vocals. Around mid 2011, the group shifted their focus to producing and collaborating with outside artists as well as using electronic drums instead of a relying on a drummer which led to the departure of their original drummer Anthony Villacari.
