Dana (Buffyverse)

Dana is a fictional character on the television show Angel. She was played by Navi Rawat.

Dana appeared in the episode Damage.

When she was ten, her family was murdered and she was severely tortured. She was then confined in a psychiatric hospital. At the time of Chosen she began to exhibit the physical and psychic powers of a Slayer, but remained insane. She escaped several months later. During and after her escape she injured or killed several innocent people.

Dana mistakes Spike for the now-dead human who had tortured her. She captures Spike and saws off his hands. Angel later apprehends Dana, but Andrew and a squad of Slayers then takes her into their custody, saying that they (and Buffy no longer trust him.
