Bob White is an unincorporated community located on West Virginia Route 85 in Boone County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. Bob White is home to approximately 200 residents. The community's ZIP code is 25028. There is a service station, convenience store, and post office. Most of Bob White's residents are employed by the highly controversial coal mining industry. Maria "Save the Mountains" Gunnoe, a local resident and activist, claims that her future in Bob White is "not for sale." Ms. Gunnoe protests the mining industry, especially mountain top removal and refuses to let mining run her off of her land. Some would call her a radical while others would agree with her point of view.

Bob White is served by Van Elementary and Van Junior-Senior High Schools.
