Damonte Ranch High School is the newest public high school in the Washoe County School District, located in southeast Reno. DRHS opened in the Fall of 2003 as a combined middle school and high school, to help alleviate the overcrowding at Pine Middle School until another middle school is built.

Damonte has a current enrollment of 1,253[[1]]. Its colors are Navy Blue and Forest Green, and the school's mascot is the Mustang.

Athletics

Damonte Ranch competes in the Sierra League of the Northern 4A Region (large school). DRHS won its first state title in any sport when the volleyball team defeated Las Vegas' Silverado High School in five games in 2006.
