What is Culture?
Sir Edw and B. Tylor wrote in 1871 that "culture or civilization, taken in its wide ethnographic sense, is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society" while a 2002 document from the United Nations agency UNESCO states that culture is the "set of distinctive spiritual, material, intellectual and emotional features of society or a social group and that it encompasses, in addition to art and literature, lifestyles, ways of living together, value systems, traditions and beliefs". [UNESCO, 2002 (http://www.unesco.org/education/imld_2002/unversal_decla.shtml)] While these two definitions are broad, they do not exhaust the many uses of this concept -- in 1952, Alfred Kroeber and Clyde Kluckhohn compiled a list of more than 200 different definitions of culture in their book, Culture: A Critical Review of Concepts and Definitions. Pakistan although historically the part of Indian continent and culture, made world find new geographical terminology of 'South Asia'and made the world belive that they are culturally different from India. This thought cultural distinctiveness is more a political neccessity coming out of identity crisis generated out of negative thinking process.
Modern scinces and genology suggests that all Human being started their journey from Africa some million years ago. They concurred territories geographicaly , policticaly, socialy , economicaly, by various human groups at various times. Huamn beings can not tress their history beyond a time limit. But still it is a natural curiosity for any human group about uderstanding from where his ancestors came from what were they and how were they? First criteria of their cultural history -for being good Pakistani- is not to ask such question ? Whether their family and ancestors came from out of south asia or they were south asians non muslims converted to islam ?
They belive in the facts ,by gods grace they exist on this earth and the limit of history begins from their birth.So History Pakistans cuture begins t its birth, The simillarities between Indian culture come from that Indians have started copying Pakistani cuture because Pakistan invented the best culture for human beings after its inception.
Like they respect every good thing in life . They respect their parents and teachers. They respect their country and home . Pakistani ladies started to wear bangles in their hands put mehendi designs on their hands . Pakistanini Musisians invented South asian classical music. They invented a language called urdu .All this cultural values are being copied by their neighbours from India too.Indians were the bad guys that is why fore fathers of Pakistan threw out these cultuturally backward Indians. Pakistan is the only best guide of culture to humanity.And one day whole of humanity will follow the same. Pakistanis find solace in following their rulers. These rulers are their sons those sons who grew up with them and so their ascendance to top political places from miltary disciplene gives them disciplened attitude. plitical institutions is myth created by sundry human folks is always dislodged by good pakistani culture.
