[edit]The 2.5 millionth article on the English edition of Wikipedia is created. While no attempt was made to officially identify the 2.5 millionth article, Joe Connor has been suggested as the possible article.

[edit]WikiProject Lakes reached 5,000 articles with infobox lake. 2700 of those still need illustrations.

[edit]WikiProject Mountains passed 5,000 articles in the last two weeks and reached 5,500 articles with Infobox Mountain.
