I wonder if Q (Star Trek) is based on the Great Gazoo? -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
According to the article on Q, it sounds like the inspiration (if there was one) was Trelane and/or his father:
"The similarity between Q and Trelane, the alien encountered in Star Trek episode "The Squire of Gothos", inspired writer Peter David to establish in his 1994 novel Q-Squared that Trelane is a member of the Continuum, and that Q is his godfather (Some evidence suggesting that Q is Trelane's biological father as well)."
Personally I take issue with this article's claim regarding "jumping the shark". I've never heard anyone reference the Great Gazoo as an example of it. Gazoo was one of the most imaginative, inventive, interesting and well written characters in TV animation history in my opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.214.196.230 (talk) 16:33, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
"His controversial personality is what got The Flintstones banned in Italy, Nunavut, Belarus, Tibet, and Saudi Arabia." -- This seems like something that needs a reference, or at least an explanation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.93.227.59 (talk) 04:44, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Is false information being posted here?! What's "Wilma's Second Child"?! 2603:6010:8B45:FA00:C2F:4B73:18B2:7A73 (talk) 18:46, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Absolutely. "Wilma's Second Child" is not a real episode.
- Gazoo first appeared in the final season, Season 6, not the penultimate season, Season 5.
- Also Gazoo didn't appear in 49 episodes. 2601:1C2:1700:760:8D15:EC9E:17D4:4A4B (talk) 00:31, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
