Brar (Punjabi: ਬਰਾੜ) is a Jat clan from the Punjab region.[2][3]
Notable people with the surname, who may or may not be affiliated with the tribe, include:
- Sham Singh Attariwala (1790-1846), a Sikh general in the Sikh army of Lahore Darbar.
- Sher Singh Attariwalla, was a royal military commander and a member of the Sikh nobility during the period of the Sikh Empire in the mid-19th century in Punjab.
- Chattar Singh Attariwalla, was Governor of Hazara province and a military commander in the army of the Sikh Empire during the reign of Maharaja Duleep Singh in the Punjab.
