Bourne Coulee is a valley located in Liberty County, Montana, United States. [1][2][3] It is situated in the central part of the country, about 2,900 km west of Washington, D.C.

The valley has a cool Semi-arid climate [4], with an average temperature of 7°C. July is the warmest month with an average temperature of 26°C, while December is the coldest with an average temperature of -10°C. [5] The average annual precipitation is 461 mm, with the wettest month being June with 111 mm of precipitation and the driest month being February with only 6 mm. [6] The valley is named after Bourne Coulee Creek, which runs through it. [1]
