Killing of Vincent Chin

Why you have chosen this article to evaluate?

[edit]

I have never heard of this incident until this topic has been brought up into my Asian-American studies. Surprisingly, this incident were never brought up in any of the American education topics. This is a huge topic for Asian-awareness, and a huge topic of how the unfairness among minorities in the United States has been hidden intentionally. Therefore, I chose this article to evaluate.

The killing of Vincent Chin brought a lot of attention back in the late nineties. However, it was not broad enough to drew more attention or even make an influence to Asian awareness. Vincent Chin was killed before his weddings. His family was devastated. The two white males who killed him has never gotten any serious charges from this incident. This news then demonstrates how corrupted the US court system is when it comes to racial discrimination.
