Jennifer Hansen

Jennifer Hansen is a former newsreader on Australia's Channel Ten. Born in Orbost, Victoria.

Biography

Whilst at school Jennifer worked on her school magazine as co-editor before studying for an Arts Degree at Melbourne University. She worked for the student publication Farrago as well as working part time for "The Southern Cross", and a Sunday metropolitan newspaper, "The Sunday Observer". In her third year of University she applied for a role at Channel Ten and combined her work there with her studying. Jennifer continued to work for Channel Ten until 2006 when she decided against renewing her contract with them.


Personal life

Jennifer is married to Neighbours actor Alan Fletcher and they have two children, Veronica and Tom. She plays the piano and the flute and is credited on the debut album of the band Waiting Room (band)
